Here's a thought: Words Mean Things.

There are so many "loaded" words in any script that get completely ingnored.

Here's what happens all the time in rehearsal: I'll stop someone and say, "You used the word "serious", when you described such and such situation. Was it really that serious? "Oh yeah, we almost went under" "The thing is, you blew by the word without giving it anything. And doesn't it also set up that situation on the next page?"

And it's far from just words; whole ideas, emotions and attitudes can be lurking anywhere, unexplored.

This is what actors and directors do all day. They drive you nuts with it but it's that kind of understanding and logic that gives you so much variety in delivery and confidence and solidity in your presence. It's about finding every opportunity to keep the audience on its toes.
